I am sure we weren't happy about all the visits, especially with his HS transferring history. I will take a guess, he came off of his LSU visit, brought his NIL offer from LSU to Miami and Miami said, no thanks. He calls LSU and commits. Who knows, it may just be the visits, but you need to pay a kid to not take the visits they would get paid for. Nothing is simple in recruiting. Get McFarland now. I really hope that's it. Started at STA; played two years there, in the spring of his sophomore year he transferred to American Heritage, ran track at American Heritage; transferred to Miami Edison to play both ways under Uncle Luke , played two-three games at Edison in the fall before transferring to Chaminade & finishing his season over there. Still at Chaminade.



He’s related to former RB/DB Dallas Crawford.

Man, call a spade a spade. Kid committed out of the blue, continued to play the game and entertain other schools. His production on Friday nights did not match his recruitment, he had more top 10, top 5, top 4 lists than touchdowns. We got motion right now, no need for an undersized WR to get this much attention

I don't even wanna be a hater, because Holland said he has looked improved in 7on7 play, but his ranking and even the offers do not match the actual on field production

Yeah man , I'd honestly be okay not taking a HS WR at all unless it's a certified, bonafide animal given our depth and our room right now. Give me the trench bullies all day.

Not upset about this one at all. We are deep at WR and are in the running for some pretty good recruits. Ah'Mari IMO wasnt going to get PT for a few years, if at all. He would have had to develop quit a bit. He is good but if anyone has seen him play live or even watched his tapes, he is no where close to the level of recent WR talent that we have acquired. I think he knows that and we weren't gonna go out of our way to make him feel like a priority, I dont mean this to sound bad but he wasnt. LSU was willing too. I think he will be in that same situation though and will be a portal kid next year and land at an SMU or Duke or NC State.
