The (mythical) sour grapes would be our fans/coaches/players conveying "we were going to part ways weeks ago" when it has only just been announced today. The implication is that we "made up" the parting of the ways to cover our asses over a "flip".

Remember Linton got dropped today too, and we have a huge haul of huge recruiots tomorrow for the Spring Game. Had Stevens locked it down he might have stuck, but as soon as he started waffling, we were looking elsewhere, and I think there are better options. With Spafford, Jacobs, and Lennear in the fold, we're not desperate for pure speed anymore.

I don't know that it is sour grapes on our part. Who quit after they got fired? Stevens or us?

It COULD be sour grapes on our end. It COULD be on his end. I don't know all the dialogue that took place between the two parties, nor the timelines. If we gave Stevens the heave-ho yesterday, announced it today, then he committed to L$U, Stevens has (potentially) the sour grapes. If it's the other way around, we have the sour grapes. Personally, I don't give a ****. If he was playing games as a low 4 star with us, fucc him. We are stacked in the WR room right now and don't need drama *******. If we end up with someone better, terrific.

I can only speculate what the message is but what I know for sure Mario wanted said message to be released between 12:30:-12:33pm Eastern Standard time.

lol why would you even compare this staff's recruitng in ANY aspect to Manny's given the track record? Reeks of an agenda. And how do you know it's not true that we dropped him first? Kid could have very well gotten a call that was like go ahead and committ to LSU and good luck.
