I am encouraged by the physicality of the OL as well... They are looking better every week.

Another super solid Heatherman called defense… let the Dline work. Play the bend don’t break and then stiffen in the red zone.

It’s pretty clear Fitzgerald isn’t a corner. Not ****ting on the kid, but he was being abused out there. He’s just forced into it with all the injuries.

Felt like Hetherman is ok playing soft coverage and waiting for the field to condense or get in advantageous third down situations. Get the DBs healthy and I think it’ll change. And once that happens, we can move guys like Fitz back into their normal positions. Fixing some of these issues. Sure S depth hasn’t been bit yet by the injuries but forcing them to fill at CB is impacting hoe they can play the deep half.

Made them 1 dimensional and feasted. Yeah there was a couple missed plays / missed tackles but overall dominated

One of the best wr cores we will face in the acc. And eoc got hurt for a little, bryce looked a little tired at times, mack got some snaps. If we limited some yac and out of structure plays the stats would look better, but secondary played a solid game all things considered and dline dominated, lbs played well

Everything good or solid besides consistent tackling and thorton lol

Hetherman is literally coaching this defense with duct tape and super glue considering the injuries to the secondary. This has to be one of the best coaching jobs we've seen.

People here hate the bend and not break defense because it gives them Al Golden and Mark D'onofrio PTSD, but more often than not, Hetherman has made it work, shockingly so.
