Decided to do some day drinking and watch this game...
Can we get back to this please. Love shutting up the whole darn stadium!!!
I feel like that was the last time we had a truly elite team and played elite that day. Wright was so good that game that After watching it I thought he was going to be the best QB in cfb. Then Gtech happened followed by LSU. Smh

Watched that game in my sister's apartment at Pedo State with a few other Canes fans that came with me for the visit. One of her roommates was from Virginia and from a diehard Vag Tech family (who were also visiting) and she was one of these people that still stayed loyal to that school even though she was currently a Pedo State student.

Needless to say we made that game a living **** for them and then the piece de resistance was several hours later when her brother walked in on one of my boys banging her while wearing a Dan Morgan 44 jersey. Ahhh, good times!

That's what America is all about.

That was the last time Miami went on the road and dominated a team they were not suppose to. EVERYONE picked VT over us. Coaching staff told players if they were scared to play at VT then stay their *** home.

Would love to see something similar on 8/24.

My gf at the time broke up with me the day after this game. Her cousin got married the day of the game and we went to a bar before the reception. The game started and I told her there was no way I’d be able to leave until it was over no matter what the score was. She came back at halftime and I wouldn’t leave. She texted me for most of the second half telling me it was a blowout and I needed to get my *** to the dance. I refused. By the time the game was over and I had made it to the dance, she had left. I talk d to her in the hotel and we drove 6 hours together the next day. About 30 minutes from home she told me we were through and that she was ending the relationship. I have zero regrets! Great night for the Canes and a funny story for me 😂😂😂

I remember exactly where I was. I was in 8th grade I think. There had just been a hurricanes a few weeks ago and we were one of the few people that didn't get lights back for a whole month. So I went to my moms friends house for the game. Boy were we hooting and hollering so loud! That was a great game the brings back a lot of memories.

I was in Watertown, Wisconsin. I remember being ****ed because they wouldn’t put the sound on for the game. They had sound on for some other game instead. By the third quarter, they turned the sound on since I was the only one paying attention to the TVs and I was hootin and hollering to make sure everyone knew the Canes were taking over!

Miami best the living **** out of ND two years ago. We looked elite that night and the playoff committee agreed.

What a dominating performance by the defense, we made Marcus look like a ****** that night in Lane Stadium. Also remarkable given all the injuries we had in the game with Moss going out, Hester, etc.
