Miami Beach Transforming for CFP Championship

Wow The Canes are at Fontainebleau. There’s A LOT of distractions in that wonderful hotel. Tall task to keep a college football team focused in there.

Unless I am unaware of another intercontinental. The intercontinental is in downtown right across from Brickell key.
Last time I was at Fontainebleau I grabbed 3 drinks and it was $150. Really hit me I shoulda been a finance bro instead of trying to help people with their health.

I still think the should have stuck with the crystal football. Was a much better looking/cooler trophy. IMO
That was essentially the BCS trophy, with the playoffs the gold trophy is awarded to the top playoff team and the winner also gets the crystal coaches trophy awarded to the team at top of coaches poll.. So we should get both when we win.

Community is embracing the event and ready to party!

Both teams will be staying in Miami Beach, with the Canes at the Fountainbleu and Indiana at the Intercontinental

Intercontinental isn't in Miami beach. It's downtown Miami. That's like when espn covers our games basketball and football and acts like coral gables or Miami gardens is Miami beach. At least downtown is **** close. 😂

at a football game, "live from south beach". what? HRS is in South Beach?

he's transferring to "South Beach". coral gables isn't south beach, meng.

Mark Jones (hate his guts) who alleges to be an expert on miami (he's a canuck, eh) even says **** like that

It's equally as funny they interview some random homeless meth head on south beach to tell us what a great city Miami is... Let's keep that narrative rolling. Head to pork & beans to speak with corner boys. Strippers at the river. The keys and some heroine addict on a fishing charter. Good lord

Again their is ALOT of money involved and politics so you wont "see" the coaches trophy on tv. This whole thing is run by the playoff committee, thats why when people get mad at miami about tailgating or whatever dont understand they arent running any of this. The cfb playoffs pay for rights so that will be the only trophy you see presented on TV. You will see coaches trophy at parade tho.

I sat a couple rows behind Reuben Bain Sr at the GA Tech game last season

Best believe RBJ ain't never even thought about backtalking his pops :ROFLMAO:

That man is huge

I sat right beside the man at the cotton and fiesta bowls. Have a video of me and him going nuts as the clock hit zero at the fiesta bowl.

What is the deal with Mark Jones?

Never seen a guy in his position try so hard to gain approval with his 305 shout-outs, name dropping, etc.

He goes out of his way to let everyone know he's a true Canes fan -- he was doing it again when Tulane played North Texas for their conference championship last month.

It's amateur hour. I'm surprised ABC/ESPN lets him get away with it and even allows him to still call Miami games.

Maybe nobody at the network is paying attention?
