It's like nobody bothered to read the article. Sure, I made the ULM joke, but good lord, I'm not gonna sht on my school for striving to be compared to the best.

Here's the key points.

Kevin Steele was Alabama's defensive coordinator during the 2007 season.

Saban's first year was rough. The Crimson Tide finished the 2007 season with a record of 7-6.

Still, a withstanding culture was being formed at Alabama during this season, and Steele sees some parallels to what is now being organized at Miami, even while the Hurricanes have stumbled their way to a 3-4 start to the 2022 campaign.

"A lot of similarities," Steele said to reporters on Monday when asked about the likeness between the two situations. "Hopefully we can produce the same results after those similarities."

I think a subset of the fans being toxic is very far down on the list of issues this program has. Toxic fans are a symptom, not the disease.

It's a completely unnecessary symptom. The disease doesn't need any help spreading. The lobotomy patients in this fan base are vomiting into other people's open mouths.
