So for the only the third time in the last ten seasons, Miami stands with at least six wins with four games to go.

Points Scored: Second highest in the last twenty one seasons, with only the 2013 team producing at a higher pace
Points Allowed: Tenth best in the last twenty one seasons
Point Differential (total): Since 2005, only the 2013 team had a higher point differential

We’ve def gotten better. I’ll say the elephant in the room though - if we kneed the ball in the GT game we’re 7-1 and the vast majority of Canes fans are fat, dumb, and happy.

That decision combined with other boneheaded mistakes along with QB play has a lot of fans nervous about the next 4 games.

Norvell at FSU is a great comparison. This Canes team is still learning how to win - both players and coaches. No opponent should be taken for granted and consistency is a trait that is often acquired and earned through experience and success. Just find a way to win even when you’re not playing well is often an acquired trait.

The rest of the season has a path to a very successful season. It is very possible to beat the teams we are favored to beat, finish 3-1. Then, get a bowl win, that is a 10 win season and a top 15-20 ranking. I would be very satisfied with that in Mario’s year two, and so would the elite recruits and transfers we get for next season
