Miami adds 2027 6-foot-6 OT Zaquan Linton

Yes you are right now. Not sure if you will be correct after his SR year when he signs. Obviously, this was a trajectory pick up as the kid is 15 years old. I don’t think Cantwell was on the National stage at 15 either.
Again, thanks.

Assuming he has good footspeed, technique will fix this problem. These drills are really hard on OL without pads.
Yeah he's pretty raw. Great frame and seems to move well. Needs to time his punch better and strike with conviction. No idea what his current schools coaching looks like but hope to see him make a big jump over the summer.

Consistent with @DMoney feedback on the podcast.

A lot will depend on how Linton reshapes his body moving forward. He also needs to improve his footwork as well as his bend. Linton was up and down in 1v1’s but flashed in individual drills. He’s a bit of a project but there is a lot to work with.

@DMoney camp breakdown

OT Zaquan Linton (Palm Beach Central) looked the part at 6'5, 290+ with little bad weight. He struggled with his footwork in competitive drills and lost several reps. However, he competed and stayed engaged. At this stage, Linton looks like a developmental prospect with tools.
