The mark of a well coached team is how they come out following a bye. There's a reason why most of the elite coaches tend to have absurdly great records coming off long layoffs(IE bowl games) and bye weeks. I expect this Miami team to be well prepared for GT, with some new wrinkles thrown into the gameplan.

Canes have been living this nightmare for years

I still have PTSD especially coming off bye weeks. The only way we lose is if our d just absolutely sucks balls. I’m not worried about this offense at all.

I was expecting us to be favored by 28+ and thought we'd cover that. GT was having trouble with Bowling Green's presnap motion...I think Dawson will have a field day.

Free money.

We've had some really horrible coaches. I remember thinking thoughts like, "Maybe if the bye week didn't give (insert coach's name here) an extra week to implement a horrific game plan, we might have won." It never failed. A full extra week of bad coaching did us in every time.

FYI, GT was up 14-0, and then BG came storming back....BG had a 1 handed catch for a TD. The offense looks nice...but undisciplined. Defense is bad...they blitz a lot.

BG was up 38-14, the last TD was a pick six. This was late in the 3rd..so the last 2 TD's were garbage time...and this was at Tech.

oh and BG was 1-3 before this game.

Tech will come out swinging. I can see them scoring first but we will control the game after that. We need to look good this game, especially with who we have in attendance ;). GT is going to sell out on the run.

Maybe we will see the RB screen game packages. Not sure we have see any yet.

Up to -21 on Caesars and Bet365. It'll keep going up...I'd take us up to -30. We have one of the best offenses, they're bad on defense (BGSU just ran a track meet on these guys), blackout night game, huge recruiting night, no respect in the polls, ACC opener, last game before the meat of our schedule. I think we lay it on big.

Canes 62-17.

That was embarrassing loss for GT, and they will come out and play much harder and better vs. Miami. Key has some nice wins on his resume in a short span with wins @WF, @UNC, Duke, and @Pittsburgh last season.

If Miami approaches this game like some of y'all, it'll be a high scoring close game in the 3rd. I think Miami is good enough to pull away, but they need to be focused and play well.

GT played Ole Miss tough for a good amount of game on road in Oxford earlier.

That is the type of effort you will get from GT, not what played against BG.

Miami 38
GT 17

Looking at the ticket websites, both Miami's and after market, it looks like it'll be a good crowd. Really need to fill the stadium for this game. Get you a** to the game.

I know it's Ga Tech but it seems like a spring board game, if we can dominate, going into a tough stretch. Would love to have a packed stadium and dominant win.
