Miami 15th in ap poll

Yep.

I know we're all Homer's but even the rational people on this board have to realize how easy our schedule is starting to look with fsu being exposed and notre Dame dropping their 2nd game already

Gonna be tough and is doubtful but if we get through October we're in position to be in college football playoff with a matchup against Clemson or Louisville in Acc champ game
 
Pure speculation on my part but had App State pulled off the win vs UT, I'd imagine it would have put them right near the top 25, maybe 25 and us at 24. Imagine if we went on the road to beat a team that was top 25, already beat the number 9 team in the country, and beat them by 5 TDs...

We'd probably be 10-12 right now.
 
Well I didn't think they were gonna give us enough respeck to jump a team that didn't lose. But I thought 20, so I was like has. Now let's win a game a see what's next. It's amazing to think that was our best road win since 03

I want to say this is a little too high, but very few teams have done anything great this early. I guess we deserve it as much as anyone. Not to mention that if you're going to keep teams that are 1-2 in the top 25, then I guess any thing's possible. Ah **** it, just put us in the top 10, were headed there anyway.

Haha. Exactly. Who woulda thunk we could* be going INTO Oct. 8 either ranked ahead of FSU or even ranked ahead of an unranked FSU or even potentially knocking on the door of a top 10 ranking while FSU is unranked or about to be pending a loss. Wow.

4. Clemson They won 59-0 and looked improved, still dropped to #5 some how
5. Michigan They were down at one point...took lead before half. Won by 17 points but didn't dominate...some how they still moved up to #4
6. Houston Correct Prediction
7. Stanford Correct Prediction
8. Washington I predicted they would blow out an FCS opponent stay at 8, but they got bumped down to #9 after winning 41-3
9. Michigan State Notre Dame is over rated, so they got bumped up to #8 in front of Washington.
10. Texas Someone told me I was wrong to think Texas would beat Cal, they were right. Texas loss so no chance i got this right. #21 now
11. Wisconsin Correct prediction
12. UGA Correct prediction
13. Texas A&M I knew they would give A&M a bump for beating Auburn...didn't expect this big of a bump. They are #10
14. Miami FAU fcked this prediction. Our offense sputtered against FAU early and we couldn't pass too well, ended up with 38 points. FAU followed up that performance by allowing KSU to score 63 points on them. I think KSU's performance against FAU made us lose the points needed for the 14 spot. They are #15 as the OP says
15. LSU I expected LSU to jump Tenn after beating Miss State in a blow out...but after leading 23-6, State scored 14 points in the 4th and made the game look close. So the Tigers didn't get the huge SEC bump and only moved up to #18
16. Tenn Same scenario as Michigan...after struggling against a lesser opponent (Ohio), they won by 9 points and still moved up. They are #14
17. Baylor I predicted Texas to win, but with them losing, Baylor moved up 1 spot I didnt account for. They are #16
18. FSU Lol...they counted FSU as losing to the #3 team as expected, but I hugely missed on this drop. I expected 62 points allowed to push them back to the high teens...but their performance against an over rated Ole Miss team is the likely reason why they are instead #13.
19. Florida Correct prediction
20. Arkansas Blew out their FCS oppoonent and had a huge jump because of it some how (Hey, at least we beat a team that we can compare to Tenn). They are #17
21. The Winner of Oregon/Nebraska Again, the Texas loss bumped this prediction off by 1 spot
22. Iowa Terrible prediction, no love for Iowa as they drop completely out the polls
23. TCU Bad Prediction, they stay unranked
24. Maryland I expected them to win by 16+ points and enter the back end of the polls. Instead they beat UCF by 6 points and remain unranked
25. Utah I predicted they would enter at #25, half credit? yes? no? They are #24

Didn't expect a 1-2 Ole Miss and Oklahoma to be ranked over undefeated Maryland. They are #23 and #25.

Didn't expect them to put a 3-0 San Diego state in the polls over a 3-0 Maryland squad. They are #22

Without counting Bama, I was 7 out of 28 ( adding Oklahoma, Miss, SDSU ). Pretty bad

Too high. We haven't done enough to jump all the way to 15. We've looked really good but we haven't played anyone.

Yesterday FSU got annihilated, and UF lost the only QB they had on their roster. This upcoming week we unveil throwback unis, and a long awaited IPF. All of this is good for recruiting. It's obvious our coaches have more than a clue. Our players look like they have a chip on their shoulder. Pop the corks. Somebody strangled that monkey that's been on our back, and Canes Ju-ju is back in style. So what are you replacing bleak visions with, cause we ready??!

I guess his point is that we pounded 3 unranked teams and Georgia barely eked out wins against Nicholls State and Mizzou??? Georgia, Miami and Tennessee are all probably ranked higher than they should be but we should be ahead of Tennessee.
