The Canes just landed the #1 player in the country, and now they want to make a move towards the #1 class. Here is the latest on all the visitors headed into a loaded recruiting weekend:

- There is momentum with elite RB Derrek Cooper (Chaminade). I would peg Miami as the leader going into the weekend. It's still a battle, though, with Ohio State and Texas right there. I'd place Georgia behind those three at the moment. Cooper is a huge priority, as Miami does not want to lose the most talented player in South Florida. They're focused on changing that narrative.

This is another kid with super high athletic upside. Would love to land him. Gotta keep bringing in more bigger, faster types like Josh Moore who more easily translate to Sundays.

He is another WR I am good with. I don't know the exact # that's the cutoff at WR in this class. Their are many I am good with. I wouldn't have even minded Brandon Brennett in the class with the extra ships, now. Hard to pass up, a 6' WR running a 10.4 at A. Heritage.
