Messidor may not have Phillips' crazy measurables. But he was just as impactful for us this year in many games. Kid has a relentless motor. Very happy he's coming back.

DEs could be A+ in 2023 if we find a pass rush specialist from the portal and/or Kelly and Moss can take that next step. I have a feeling Roberts isn't the only guy hitting the portal though, so have concerns about depth until Harvey and Chantz indicate what they're going to do.

It's sad you have to convince and then pay more yearly to keep people on your team if the new NIL deal (he had one last year as well) is true. College football is becoming lame as ****.

I hear you, and on the surface I agree.
However, when taking in the context of year’s past I see it as a plus.
In the past, players that weren’t early round locks would leave regardless.

With NIL we can renegotiate and retain a key player, which I view as a net positive for next season’s team.
