I think their impact in stopping the run has been better than impacting the QB.

They exceeded the expectations I had of them.

They're just not athletic enough to finish. Its not a knock against them, its just a fact.

I still don't see them playing in the NFL.

Maybe Bain gets up to 290 and plays DT.

Elite NFL Edge guys have a hard time getting to the QB. Our 2 guys against NFL OTs are losing 100% of those match-ups.

Bain does get gameplanned out of games tho. He looks ****ed off all the time.
 
Bain's NFL future is inside, where he'll be a perennial All Pro. Messidor is definetly a 1st round pick, and pro bowler on the outside.

CIS always does this. You should go back and read the thread when Rousseau was heading into draft day. Our own fans crapping on the kid to no end. Sickening. We see who got the last laugh though.

Bain and Mesidor will both be fine. Especially Mesidor. His film won’t tell lies on him. Bain is already solidified himself as a top 15 pick or better.
 
You’re wrong but usually the best edge rushers are the better athletes. Bain is getting way more attention and doesn’t have the natural athleticism to beat chips and the tackle before the ball is gone..If he was at 3tech teams wouldn’t be able to scheme around him like this lol

PFF can be a silly tool sometimes, but they have Bain graded as their highest DE in the country. Fourth most pressures. He’s also played the 88th most snaps this season, out of 2200 players.

Bain doesn’t have the raw numbers I think most anticipated, but a ton of runs get strung out on his side, he’s making QBs very uncomfortable without sacks, and he commands the lion share of attention. Through chips, doubles, protection slides etc.

Mesidor is clearly reaping the benefits of a AA DE on the field with him.
 
I don’t understand this place sometimes lol everyone thinks Bain is the best DE in th country. Ok. So preseason if someone said hey Bain is giving you 32 tackles and 3 sacks with 1 game to go and he didn’t miss any time - you’d say that checks out?

Everybody in this thread hating on Bain.. one of the best players in the country is a ***** !!!
