If you read the stat sheet and don’t watch the games, then yes OP is correct.

The truth is, Akeem Mesidor owes Ruben Bain a few million dollars because he’s playing his way into the first round getting one on one blocking every week.

Like I said his stock is high but his production is just flat out lacking. Right now he's a tweener or to small to play interior and not athletic enough to play outside. I think he needs to either gain weight or slim down. If he's this same way In the NFL he's going to have issues. If he can't finish against ACC tackles, it's not going to get easier in the NFL

His effort is not there and he CAN NOT finish plays on the plays he’s full go

D ends dominate football games. That is why they are paid out the ***. Bain does not dominate games. He may dominate a matchup but if you don’t finish consistently that does not matter as a d end in todays football.

If I was him I would sit out the combine and allow front offices to drool over inflated PFF metrics because the film isn’t there to be drafted as high as projections as a defensive end

Yeahi can see that. Kiper has him #19 overall though. He’s solidified himself as a day2 or late day 1 pick though. Great season

**** yeah, kid should close up shop & head to the Keys. Film is awful, he’s not disrupting offenses, easily blocked without help & product of media hype. These comments are nonsense & not sure if folks watch games. Helluva player & sure first-rounder.

The film is not nearly as good as the fanbase makes it sound. The same goes for the mock drafts. Bain is a great player. But he is not as great as this fanbase make him out to be and even more so the mock drafts. I would question any team that drafts him in top 15
