Bain looks better lined up inside…I think he is the better all around lineman, but Mesidor is an ELITE pass rusher. Several times this year he has gotten by a tackle without even getting touched until they hold him from behind (never a flag).

Bain has been held a TON as well to be fair. Both have great careers ahead.

6 tackles in 5 games is crazy. Don’t see how anyone can defend that

film be kinder to bain. But mesidor will test better. not a foregone conclusion that bain goes before mesidor

Mesidor is just a better athlete than Bain, and is able to make more plays outside at DE
Bain should be a full time DT ( and would absolutely kill it) with his great power low center gravity and great technique
Have heard that Bain has refused moving to DT,but coaches should insist
NFL team will move him to DT on day one

He doesn’t want to play DT. He said coming out of hs he will kick inside at times to rush the passer but he said he is a DE
 
Bain will be a better 3T at the next level or he will washout as a DE. He lacks the finishing ability. I think a lot of his burst is used getting by the blocker(s) but he just doesn’t have that next gear to finish. I think Bain is also wearing down. Hasn’t come off the field a lot all season. Way too many games where he’s playing late into the 4th when he

Mesidor benefits from a lot of single blocking but also has better closing ability IMO.

Just glad both are Hurricanes.
