We’re biased or partial…. But. If I’m objectively looking at it- that Mensah balled at Duke— and now look at his supporting cast!?
How can you not expect stellar results?

I tend to brace when I read these things— but am supremely confident (we’ve all watched enuf ball to know when someone is the ***t! )

Around playoff time realized how little general public knew about our team and how even opponents took us lightly (Tamu presser before game basically laughing at us thinking they SEC gonna save them).. Most fans just dont watch other teams (it happens on here too sometimes), they didnt watch us or know how good we were in trenches, even if saban tried to warn them.. They DAM SURE didnt watch not a single Duke game and I cant blame them but real ball knowers know whats up.

They will find out soon enough tho.. Last year wasnt a fluke and only just beginning of a run..
 
It’s similar to Cam Ward

I know **** all about QBs but I called Cam as a Heisman winner in February 2024. It didn’t take much. People were either not bothering to look or worried about weird stuff with him. You knew when he got around more talent he was gonna go nuclear

Mensah dominated basically playing give and go with Barkate. He fits in absurdly well with Dawsons approach. The plays he can make on the run or moving in the pocket are ridiculous

If he’s not in New York end of the year I’ll actually be very surprised

Wasn't too dissimilar from now. We lost a ton of guys to the NFL while everyone was glazing FSU and they even had the rap video. Perfect storm for a complete humiliation in that 88 opener.

For sure Mensah, last year, was analytically a top 2-4 QB in the country and now he surrounds himself with more talent; and yet Media will continue to prop up the same names we all knew they would. Ppl are still behind the curve.

It’s like the AP & coaches poll- we’re always underrated and must prove ourselves— that’s okay you gotta win most if not all games so these things take care of themselves so I don’t get bent outta shape…
But if we are winning game after game (and convincingly as I suspect) then Mensahs stock goes through the roof
Actually prefer it that way …
Preseason stuff is fodder- just win baby
