This is exactly why I’ve been calling Kiper a hack for years. Dude states in the article that Mensah possesses “solid accuracy” as a passer. Mensah leads CFB with an 84.2% completion rate. Mastemaker is at 67.5%. Mensah also leads in QBR at 92.5, but Mel the 🤡 thinks that Drew is the better QB and player.

Dude has been wrong more times than a broken clock.

Yea but the paragraph i qouted you on was weird. It read as if Mestemaker is not a power 4 qb like the others and wouldnt be drafted as one. But he is a P4 qb now and will be drafted as one.

The perfect example for that is our very own Cam Ward. Played P4 ball for one year. But he wasnt a small school qb when drafted. He raised his stock in the P4. Same as Mestemaker. Mestemaker would not be QB1 last year in the draft, he has raised his stock playing P4.

Idk...just seems like a weird connection youre trying to make that doesnt even fit anymore.

And Cam Ward wasn't considered a first round pick until well into the season. My point is lets see how well he does with more of a P5 footprint. So far he has played 5 games with a P5 team. And two of those games were against Tulsa and Murray State. So lets pump the breaks a little. See John Mateer.
 
NFL has a proven ability to hit on top couple round qbs being a star at about 15%. Any gm who thinks he has a secret code to do better is nuts. By any logic Jeremiah Smith will be the number 1 pick. Likely to get 10-12 of super quality vs 1 15% guess on a qb. Draft Smith and guess in round 2 because there will be a bunch of choices.

Rememeber the year with the endless debate---Mariota vs Winston? The answer was C, neither of them.
