Mensah better than Carr

Mario is locked in. He made those folks sitting in that selection room look like Albert Einstein geniuses when they picked Miami over ND for the CFP last year. ND would’ve lost to 8&7 and sure wouldn’t have beat *.

Get ready for more of the same except this year we gonna need 2 hands when they ask “How many NC’s does Miami have?” <There’s my receipt.
 
I don't disagree, but who cares? The matchup is Mensah vs. ND and Carr vs. Miami. QBs play against the opposing defense. They don't box each other. This isn't the combine.
 
With a bowl game he had over 3,900 yards passing and 35 touchdowns at Duke. We have a much more balanced offense but with the weapons we have barring any injury he should have around 4,000 yards and 40 passing TDs.

Cam had 4,300 yards and 43 TDs
Carson had 3,800 and 30 TDs
 
Mensah just has to maintain the awareness that he doesn't have to do it by himself here. He will have a solid OL, one of the best rb rooms in the nation, and a deep stable of dynamic wr's. Play within the system and be the point guard and 4k yards + 35 TD's gonna be easy money.

Oline is a question mark until its not.. D$ and AR did tackle breakdown yesterday and McCoy passing grade at guard was rough and they mentioned he had trouble with speed from DT.. If he cant hand DT speed, what are ends going to do?

Maybe, but he practices vs damon wilson and lightfoot daily so he or Jackson won't win every single rep. I do not expect a dominant OL this year but I cannot imagine a dropoff to mid.
