Mensah better than Carr

It will be a war to win on the road as it's just tough up there in general and Carr is a very good player. That said, I prefer Mensah and I think our team has more bite to it and we take a close one.

CJ Carr was having issues well past mid season. He had accuracy issues at times and his decision making was bad at times. He played great as a 1st year FR starter. He is not close to Mensah, yet. I believe Mensah has a real shot at being on stage in NYC. Let's see if new WR's Graham and Porter reach their potential at ND. They have no production yet, while being former 5*'s at OSU. I think Porter will hit. I think those are the only offensive players they brought in. The rest were on defense. We play them so I don't care about 🦜. I like our roster better than ND's. Who is going to replace 2,000+ rushing yards and 31 TD's between Love and Price last season? That is more TD's and 700 less yards than Carr. Another RB transfered out. That is the real question with ND.

I am not a believer in stats alone, but why was this thread started? I know off the top of my head, Mensah passed for 1,200 more yards and 10 more TD''s than Carr last season. Mensah has started 2 seasons. Carr played well as a 1st year starter. That's it. People are blowing him up way to early.

One of the worst games I ever attended. I don't think ND ever threw a pass in the second half, we just got abused and pushed around. It was so cold in the upper deck, compounded by the fact that we did absolutely nothing to make me cheer for, making the game a miserable one.

I rank this game and the final game in the OB as the top two.

WR - edge Miami
TE - even (no proven starter on either team)
OL - even (both teams have to fill holes)
DL - edge Miami
LB - edge ND
CB - edge Miami --- Leonard Moore is great player. I'd love to see @Lance Roffers breakdown his game compared to Xavier Lucas'. Overall we have a better starting unit.
S - - slight edge Miami ----Shuler is a better S than Poyser. But if Fitzgerald can add some weight during the offseason he's the best S on either team.

Curious to hear others thoughts?

I think their DL will be good, similar to last year. But much better is a stretch. They added Brewu, Gray, and Keeley. Besides Brewu, the other guys are alright. Not bums but not anything better than what they have had.

The same could be said Carter and Davis. Guess we will see.
 
The choice is clear which team is better, because of Preference....

They’ll definitely be a good team. Gonna be a tough game for sure

We are all basically throwing **** at the wall right now so wasn’t really criticizing that person

Right now I like our roster better than anyone’s that’s the honest truth
