My understanding is that he transferred to Purdue already, and Purdue says they aren’t worried about any issues with him. Seems he may have done it because he wasn’t happy at Memphis to begin with.

Terrible excuse though, and definitely shows character and lack of maturity. But some kids make dumb mistakes and can change, so who knows. I couldn’t just take his word though; I’d sure as **** be making him earn it.

You bring up a very valid point! Perhaps the young man simply endeavored to transfer to a finer institution of higher learning so as to improve his writing prowess. He is now on his third university; however, he has transferred to a university of a higher USNWR ranking each time! We certainly cannot fault him for that, now, can we?

1. Old Dominion University: 296
2. University of Memphis: 266
3. Purdue University: 46

There was double treachery- first by the DB, then by the disgruntled ex who got his phone.

Well, Memphis did just get probation for a advisor taking 2 tests for a student athlete. Memphis received vacated wins, a $30,000 fine and that advisor received a 10 year show cause. The NCAA is abusing anyone in their crosshairs right now. The perpetrator beware, they are knocking people out of the box with show causes.

I was in a staff meeting, a coach said hold on I know a guy that was there last year that just left. He got on the phone and got him to send all they stuff
