Clemson and FSU both did this on their playoff runs yet wet didn’t hear nearly as half of the criticism that they weren’t impressive or not good. The agenda is as clear as day period....

People are gonna hate. We’re Miami, they don’t wanna see us winning. Just keep winning and it won’t matter.

Beat VT and ND and the criticism stops. Miami's issue is we haven't beaten anyone ranked.

I don’t see that as whining; just facts. If anything, it says that we should legitimately be seen as a CFP champ threat.

But we got one job: beat UNC.

It seems to me he is pointing out that this hasnt kept a team out of the playoff in the Acc, not sure what the problem with that tweet is honestly.

No I’m not talking about him in particular, just the other talking heads who says Miami is squeaking by the Last 3 games or so

we will have to beat UNC at least as convincingly as VT did or the nay-sayers will not rest next week. We still control our own destiny which is the best we can hope for at this point. Win out and we will end up in the playoffs regardless of the nay-sayers.

The reality is we have squeaked by and, based on record, GaTech is our best win. Combine that with the fact that we haven't been relevant in a while and people are skeptical. I say the same things about teams like Wisconsin all the time.

If you look at those FSU and Clemson seasons, they both included wins over a top 5 team. If we beat Vtech and Notre Dame we will get all of the respect we are due. If we don't, we will be who everyone thinks we are: a good but not great team that still has some lingering depth issues to solve before we compete with the big boys.

remember that 2013 Golden team that was blowing out unranked teams and was #7 ? Yeah, I'd rather be right here with CMR winning the close ones against teams that are giving us everything they got. It's important that this team learns how to deal with adversity, then in a year or two when we have the depth to line up on the Cuse/GT/UNC's of the world and blow them out, we also know what to do when we're battling in the trenches with Bama.

We play UNC away, VT had them at home. We don't have to match their performance, but we have to at least cover the spread.

I know it is still early, but this team seems to remind me of that 2002 OSU team.

They won with defense and Krenzel seemed to do just enough (If they weren't getting bailed out by Terry Porter), especially late in games.

Tressel was also always a conservative coach like Richt.

I also think that although the media doesn't like Miami there is NO WAY they keep Miami out of the Playoffs if they go undefeated, possibly even a loss to ND and a win over Clemson in the ACCCG. The media knows that CFB is better with Miami in it.

All the tears in the world and media crying don't change the facts. The facts are we are 6-0 and won 11 straight. For a team that hasn't won at this level in a decade, y'all sure do worry about what everyone thinks about how we win. **** the optics. We aren't a national title team yet. But we are learning how to win. We play with confidence and poise. Just win, baby.
