I love the stupid ***** on this board.

He took a team that averaged 18 wins per season under the prior regime to 24 wins per season.

This team used to average 6 wins per season in conference and now they average 11 wins per season.

But he didn't do it in year one, stupid ****.

He is what Schelly and Fraser were to U FB and Baseball respectively

Yeah, except for the fact that those guys took nothing and won national titles. Our basketball team tries to stay within 25 in the Sweet 16 game every four years.

Wow... Seriously?

I'm not taking sides here because I live and die by both the football and basketball programs, but to minimize what the basketball program has done over the past 5 years, or so, is completely misguided.

If we're going to compare Larranaga to Schnellenberger and Fraser, let's compete for a national title.

And, Da Gawd just landed another 4 star recruit, a center who picked Miami over Kansas (and also had offers from Duke, Florida, UConn, Indiana, Louisville....).

He had our best season in the ACC in year one, you stupid ****.

That is called INSTANT success.

He went 20-13, 9-7 and didn't make the NCAA tournament. That's your version of instant success. You and TheFranchise are masters of ******** up basic, findable facts.

Stupid ****.

He had the best season we ever had in the ACC. Did we ever win 9 in conference before? Did we ever have a winning record in conference before? He took a team with no program/track record (other then losing) and made us competitive. He had the best season we ever had in conference. Yes, that is instant success. He then won the conference the next season. That is an instant success.

Are you done you stupid ****?

How many more Natties does Coach L have on Richt if we're playing this game....Richt had instant success at UGA last I checked...It's pointless to make this comparison

The OP compared the L and Richt. Not sure why the Schnell stuff came in here.

Basketball is such a different beast as far as comparing it to a football program. I guess the best way of looking at the two of them would be to compare the cultures of the programs. The basketball program is/has become a national brand over the past 5 seasons...ACC reg. season and tourney champs in '13, a legit Final 4 contender last year (running into Villanova did not help), and big-time recruits not choosing UM over other national powers. Coach L has changed the culture.

The football program is still trying to define themselves. No doubt it is going to take Richt a year or two to change what has become the norm over the past 10 years. It even took Schnell until his 5th year to win the NC. He had to change the culture.

This thread does nothing but cause issues.

LOL at anyone criticizing what Coach L has done with a NOTHING program. The fact anyone is even mentioning "bad losses" for UM basketball should tell the dolts he's a magician.

Technically not true. Richt went 8-4, 5-3 his first year. Went 13-1, 7-1 his second.

Winning one more conference game than the ****** who we wanted out anyway is your version of instant success because you are a stupid **** who doesn't know any better. Why would you bring year two into this, stupid ****? We're talking about instant success.

LOL. Any board where Jagr posts turns into the baseball board. He turned the Pornhub message board into baseball board arguing about the precise degree of curvature in James Dean's weener.

His point, if I may, is that it wasn't Coach L's best season, and in his first year, he eclipsed Haith's best year (8-8).

Finally, something clever. Now, about that Greg Ward injury......

Our previous coach only averaged 6 wins per season in conference. He instantly beat that by 50%. That is a tremendous success. We were nothing. We had nothing. He instantly raised the bar at Miami. He had the best performance in the conference in his first season.

Why would you bring year two into this, stupid ****? We're talking about instant success.

Because that is part of being an instant success. Raising the bar and building. Putting your kids in the best position to win.

You're normally just wrong, here you're reaching uncharted levels of potato. Keep it up!

Yes. He instantly got us a winning record in the ACC something we never did before.

Considering we use to average 6 wins in conference with Haith, I would say this is a tremendous success.

I am not comparing him to Richt, I am just defending what he did at this school.

This just proves to me that every time you post "Wow" you have nothing to say. And that has been about 80% of the time. Stick around for more lessons, stupid ****.
