"Me Guys"

Sheesh, Al...sheesh.

You know, there's something called the internet and what you say is ALWAYS online. Ladies and Gentlemen, please note what Golden had to say, last year, about the team full of "me" players:

"There's a standard of excellence at the University of Miami, and you're held to that standard, which we've all accepted by going to the University of Miami. The one thing I think that's different about this team is that they believe in who they are, so they certainly respect the past, but they want to represent who they are and their identity as a football team. There's been nothing about the 2014 team that even resembles the 2013 team. They wanted to be their own team, have their own leadership and really move forward. So I'm excited about these guys saying, 'OK, let's go out and make our own identity’ as opposed to relying on something that happened quite a while ago." -- coach Al Golden

Now, what's interesting is that Golden has used this excuse before. He threw Shannon recruited players under the bus, first, in 2011-12. In 2013, he mentioned how this was finally his team, since 95% of the team were all hand-picked by Golden (we know how that season finished out). It's just amazes me how all these slurpers still follow this guy. He's the Jim Jones of college football.

This is amazing.

It just shows what a weasel this guy is. He's always got an excuse or is always passing blame off onto something or someone else. And every year and every team "is gonna be different," he swears!

I am going to get so much joy watching him end up as a high school coach.

The staff would never say it, but Eric Flowers would have been at the top of the list, followed closely by Duke Johnson.

This is the new excuse for '15. We're a "team" this year so the fans should buy in. I'm not buying in. Good coaches win with good talent. Bad coaches lose with good talent. Period.

Golden hate talented players and those were the most talented, so Al hated them the most. Before it is over, Al will hint that Brad is the "me" player who causes this year's collapse. Al is the same coach every day -- every day he sucks and ever day he blames someone else for it.

Me GUysm = Taylor Gadbois.

Me GUySm = Crawford. (I'm gold, they treat me like silver)

No joke. The guy has a book of excuses and looks like a fat heavy breathing slob. I've never seen a staff take as many shots at their former or current players as this one. They throw players under the bus all the **** time. Then there's the attack on the fan base and the outright twisting of the truth like we're all a bunch of imbeciles that can't tell a clown show from quality coaching.

News flash coach jackass and company, we wrote the book on domination while you were getting fingerbanged in the showers at PSU. You claim you know our history, guess what, so do some of us fans who saw and lived it.

Man, this guy just ****es me off. Want a me guy, look in the mirror fat Al. You're a selfish prick who's in over his head. Too bad for us, PSU didn't believe in you.

Are people really that stupid to believe this nonsense? Never mind, I already know the answer to that.

All you Al Tin slurping super fans take notice. The above is what you call a quality post.

Our great teams of the past certainly didn't have any so called "me guys"......
Guys like Irvin, Hill, Brown, Sapp, Thomas etc.. we're all "put ya head down" , "yes maam no maam" "coal shovelers" that's y they were so successful!!! Man...AL Golden just gets it. Hopefully he will continue to model this current squad after the great Penn Sta...My bad i mean Hurricane teams of the past!!

As far as Duke goes, I'll be the first to say he's overrated....in comparison to our all-time great backs and that he was soft and lacked durability.....in certain situations......BUT none of that is an indictment on his character. You can't label someone a "Me" guy because his momma ran her mouth publicly once. Outside of that episode, we have no concrete info either way to determine anything in relation to the the locker room dynamic. In fact, we've been junk for so long that any corch would spout the same crap as Alfredo about improvement in attitude over the previous season(s). That's a given when there hasn't been a team in a decade plus that could be held in high regard as something to try to replicate. Every freakin' year has to be a "new" beginning for us.

Being vocal, brash, etc. has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not someone is a "me" player. Those players you cited were all about the team, they worked their asses off at all times, they lived and breathed being a Hurricane, not being an individual star. They were all the type that would play every last down of every game because that's what they were there for, even the blowouts and cake-walks if they could as opposed to playing slow and careful because they wanted to make sure they were fresh and ready for the NFL draft.

Holy shlt you are honestly pathetic as fvck.

It's funny, usually when college teams have kids that turn out to be early draft picks that April, they almost always do better than 6-7. Most coaches benefit from enjoying that much talent and it translates to increased win totals. When a program is brimming with future NFL players as upperclassmen, the majority of them will win a lot of games.

But magically, it is your idol, poor innocent Al, that is the victim of these mean selfish players. Every other coach at big time programs finds a way to deal with these burdens of NFL studs, but not poor Al. He's got the "me first meanies" messing it up for everyone, right?

Only Golden could further hoodwink morons like dk, his prime demographic. It's insane. He's made it so these dopes believe that having all this NFL talent was actually a detriment.

You really believe the shlt he says, that's the alarming part. I guarantee you've sent your bank account # to a Nigerian prince more than once.

Man, you really are about as stupid as they come. Can't seem to separate one issue from another, because your brain can't handle more than the most absolute basics of black and white. Bottom line is my comment was 100% accurate. The poster equating brash and vocal as being the same as "me" guys was completely wrong. "Me" guys can be brash and vocal, they can be quiet and polite. None of those people that he named were ever in any way "me" guys. As for some of the more recent batch doing exactly what I said, that comes directly from the mouth of current players, not coaches. So don't like it, take it up with them.

Kills yourself IMMEDIATELY if you're buying into this "me guys" narrative because you're a danger to society and will only wind up spawning more feeble-minded idiots like yourselves. Do the right thing and kill yourself.

Ah, the board trash tells me to "kill myself" because I don't act as childish and brain dead as he does.

And yet they still performed at the best of their abilities. I'm sick of this staff making excuses for their own problems. Duke and Eric didn't play defense against Nebraska, GT, or the 2nd half against F$U. They still seemed to be putting in work at the end of the season when the defense completely **** the bed.

weird how it isn't just the coaches, but the players who agree and say it as well.

But the players are lying , right?

Bunch of idiots on here!
