McShay 2023 Mock (TVD #9 to SEA, Zion #26 to LAC)

TVD is the best prospect in that whole mock. And I don't think that's with orange and green shades on.

Edit: #2 behind Anderson. Forgot him. Monster

Zion as a first rounder?

Have we ever had a player that's absorbed as much crap as Zion has but just keeps chugging along rather quietly I might add and keeps achieving more and more every year??
Honestly he's had a rather remarkable career here and I don't mean stats wise... Just in how he came in and what he's turned into.... I'm still shocked he started as a true freshman coming in as light as he was but he's done everything he was asked to do to maintain himself as a go to guy.... Yes he had to split time at some points but he just keeps chugging along...... chugging along to a potential first round contract...

I think it’s too bad that a lot of Hurricane fanatics know Zions story and how he ended up at Miami. They struggle giving him credit for being one of the best LT’s in the country.

Miami had the #1 pass blocking unit in the ACC. He’s a huge part of that! No LT is going to win ALL of his one on one battles. It’s not realistic for even the considered best LT in the draft.

He kept mofos off of TVD coming off that edge allowing him to deliver darts and drop dimes those last 6 games. Check those 6 games to see how many sacks and pressures he allowed and then compare that with who’s considered the #1 LT in his draft class.

We all know who his new coaches are on that side of the ball. This is a money year for him. He’s protecting the blind side of one of the best QB’s in the country. Run blocking and functional strength was his weakness. I don’t think that’s going to be an issue for him next season. This is all based on him staying healthy of course. IMO
PREACH!!!
He's the LT on the best pass blocking unit in the conference, yet half the fanbase dogs the kid, lol what a joke.
Put some respect on that man's name!

Awesome story

Zion in the first would be an amazing story and I don't think he's tapped into much of his potential yet.

So Miami had one 7th round draft pick before Mario coached a down here and in his first season coaching here he already created 2 first round picks... Wooooohhh.. (Am I doing this right?)
