Right, they came out flat against FAU. And Vandy. And South Carolina. And Tennessee. And East Carolina. And Kentucky.

Every week is a struggle. And like someone said, they're winning because of the defense that was built by Muschamp. McElwain's side of the ball can't get out of their own way.

The one should have been defensive holding not a PI. Still crazy it didnt get called though.

He took over a 7-5 team, won his division, and is 10-1 despite starting a horrible back-up QB for half the season.

I hope our next coach 'sucks' this much in year one.

Some people can understand more than just W-L records. He inherited a defense that would have been just as nasty if Muschamp stayed, and he has managed to avoid six disasters with some nice bounces. If you have some evidence of quality coaching in that game today, please share.
 
McEnamelstain's qb is garbage but he still is winning. Imagine what Coley would do with Harris in the SEC let alone the ACC coastal.

this season reminds me a lot of muschamps first for the gators; wouldn't be surprised to see a drop off next year and beyond
 
I think FSU smashes these frauds. Give me Bama in the $ECCG too even if they're giving 21 points....and I don't even think Bama is as good as we're being sold weekly.
 
The real question is if he'll be able to sustain the level of the defense. I was never concerned about his team offensively once he gets his players in.

Still, they should've had this game easier than they did. That's football sometimes and five years from now all anyone will remember is the final win / loss total.
