I am as pumped as anyone about our team this year, but I am still riding the brake pedal a bit until after Clemson. Win or lose, it will be the measuring stick we are looking for. We have beaten teams that have an overall 4-5 record and 3 of those wins are by UAB!!
Now, we have beat the brakes off them so that is a positive.
I think we can score quite a bit on Clemson, but can our D hold up and hold them to less than we score. Our LB'ers and Secondary better be up to the task because they will have their hands full.

Gents, y'all are on me like you were on Richter when he named Malik the starting QB in 2017.
Believe me, I am enjoying every minute of this season so far. I have been a canes fan for almost 40 years. I guess for me, it is hard to not expect anything less than a shot at a Natty. That is where we should be and maybe will be very soon. My post was more about ME pumping the brakes until we beat someone of a very high caliber. Love whoopin' FSWho's ***, no doubt and enjoyed a cigar and bourbon after it.
But for me, it comes back to beating someone of significance such as Clemson, #1. That is when I feel we will have a shot at another natty.

I’m excited to see this offense go against a top defense. You could easily make the argument that UAB has the best defense of the three teams we have faced. Which is quite the fact. Clemson will be a true test. If we score 30+ on them that is massive. Pitt defense might be just as good also

All I see is that my squad has improved a great deal during the off-season. We were outright losing to ****** teams last year and now we are blowing them out. Win or lose against Clemson, I don’t think we lose another game this year. So my bad for being happy!!!!
