Maybe pump the brakes a bit until after Clemmy...

Canes need to stuff the run period. Their quick passing game is lethal and that will expose the weakness of the LB in space. If we can stuff the run we will have a shot. Have to give the Dline a chance to get after Sunshine. Than, the oline is gonna have to continue the growth we have seen in these first 3 games. Defense needs to keep them around 30pts to have a chance. Its gonna be fun

Come on man, don’t try to front. You know how it is. How many games have we lost over the years and when you look back you think, “We really could’ve had that one if those rascals on the message boards weren’t so excited and optimistic.”

D’Eriq King lives inside my head. I know if I get excited and tell all my FSU fans to eat a huge bag of ****s and we’re going to Death Valley to stomp a mudhole in countless asses, he’ll get ahead of himself and not play well. So I choose to hide under my bed until after the game.

Strong point. Who would disagree that 2020 Miami would beat 2017 Miami by at least 2 TDs?

Man forget pumping the brakes, believe in dem boyz period. That's what being a true Cane fan is all about. If the players had a pump the brakes attitude they lost before taking the field. Understand past heartbreak but that's just what it is, the past. Not a shot at you OP I'm just all in all the time. We can beat them ******* and regardless of what happens I'll be all in next game and if we see them again. This team is the foundation and the start of something special for years to come. PS I'm not crazy though I can see when we just **** and this is not the case. It all starts with the QB and if he **** with no heart you can have all the talent in da world and your team will not be perform thinking they can win and vice-versa.

No need to pump the breaks because beating Clemson this year was never the reason for the season. Most Canes fans know we aren't a championship team right now but I think we are getting closer. I wanted proof that Diaz's first season was an aberration and that he is the right coach long term. If Miami loses to Clemson in 2 weeks and it's only other loss is to Clemson in the acc championship game, how can we not be excited? We can get to Clemson's level with a couple more great more recruiting classes, but we have to show recruits that Miami is trending up. The W/L record at the end of the season matters a lot more than the Clemson game in a couple weeks.

I knew in 2017 that what I was watching was fools gold. We were eeking out victories over terrible teams. Needed a couple miracles to win. You can say Miami played 3 weak opponents so far but Miami almost always played down to the competition in recent years. Now we're handling our business like we are supposed to. This team is the real deal.

The scoreboard showed a beat down but it’s not like Miami was driving up and down the field on them. They turned the ball over four times and generally sucked on offense. Our offense was it’s usual mediocre self. ~350 total yards, 2-13 on third downs, less than 150 passing yards. That game was won by the defense and the magic of the turnover chain. The previous week against VT was actually a better performance but the scoreboard didn’t show it because we were only +1 on turnovers against the Hokies.

We are 2-0 in Death Valley and they are 2-0 in Miami the last four meetings! If we do the little tgings we will be fine.

So you’re telling me I don’t have to wear the same UM leather jacket, UM shirt, UM socks, and pants while watching the game?! Jkjk, but we’re 3-0 while wearing that outfit, started when I was in cold weather and decided to ride the same outfit to see if it was lucky. I’ll take one for the team and keep wearing that jacket in 85 degree weather here in Miami though haha
 
I'm enjoying every moment! Yeah, I understand what the OP is trying to say... but, it's been so long that we had a product on the field that looks the part, FINALLY! Especially on offense.

We will see with our next opponent where REAL coaches have to do their homework, I have confidence with the O. Let's see what the DC brings to the table. Keep it close or we outright win! I feel good, real good! GO CANES!!

This, Clemson is obviously our biggest test on the schedule, but I am going to enjoy every second of this. It has been so long since we have had a team to truly get excited about.
