I’ve always had neutral feelings for LSU - don’t like them or hate them but I’d rather see them win than the gator, Baga, or UTK. That being said, BK is the all time winningest coach at Notre Lame. Nuff said.
 
This ain’t Miami. Those reporters are probably fans of lsu too. Unlike Miami media where everyone tried to kill the school.

And lsu is the best coaching job in the country. That whole state is crazy about lsu. No In state comp for recruits. School cares about football only. They don’t care about grades. They have booster support. Facilities. The list goes on

I was about to disagree with LSU being the top job, but the more I think about it you might be right. Any school that’s willing to funnel recruiting $ through a children’s hospital has bought all the way in. They may be morally bankrupt, but they’ll do anything to win football games.

If only Brian Kelly had an industrious and perceptive, hard-nosed beat reporter such as our esteemed Susan Degnan following him around to ask respectfully relevant questions without all the guff; for example, what BK thought about the meat protein served at the team lunch buffet before the game.

And it may be a different pool of money but have you seen their library and their new football facility. It’s like comparing the flinstones and the jettsons

That was a very unprofessional thing for the reporter to say. Her employer needs to talk tot her. Brian Kelly (who I dislike) had an appropriate reaction to reporters being late, and frankly was not nearly as big a jerk about it as he could have been. And even said we will use the money for a party at his house at the end of the year. I tihnk it is fair for the coach to expect the reporters to be on time, and vice versa.

I could care less about her gender but she owes him an apology or she should never get an exclusive interview with him or any of his coaches or players.
Even if she is a country bumpkin she needs to act like a professional.

I agree. It’s not because I’m “taking sides” with Kelly, but her comments were immature and petulant considering what her job is.

Having said that, I’m getting some really bad vibes from him with regard to his tenure at LSU. It’s just kind of an instinctual feeling I have based on watching him during the game, and seeing his overall demeanor over time, something just seems really off to me. In addition to the fact that I don’t think he’s a “fit“ in Louisiana, I just get the sense that he’s not happy in the slightest. Seems almost depressed.
