And?
Who were the coaches?
Nvm I'm stupid. Guess he was the last added. It was belichick, brown, shula, lambreau, Walsh, Landry and noll
Look at the staff Rhule put together compared to Manny. A majority have 15+ years of P5 or NFL experience.

Banda Patke and Rumph are all super green and below average recruiters. Stubs is trash and Butch Barry is awful. Field is supposed to be our ace and he hasn’t really landed anyone.
it’s no wonder we were so bad in 2019. Barring drastic changes to the whole staff I expect the same in 2020 cause Manny should have cut his teeth at Temple, not on the job at UM
Big difference in the rosters they inherited
Don’t be dense, what Rhule started out with versus what Manny started out with isnt even comparableSo he had all these experienced guys and still went 1-11 lol

You know a third of the team either transferred or decommited.
Baylor’s MO was taking players with “questionable” backgrounds. After the Briles stuff that was no longer an option
Based on your argument it sounds like you are happy with Manny’s performance and staff huh?
Wow. Took over what essentially was an Art Briles team and went 1-11?? Canes fans would have been flying planes and putting up Billboards...LOL
And we went 0-4 against FIU, GT, Duke and LTHe went 1-2 against Liberty, Kansas, and UTSA
Every team you mentioned is better than the 3 teams I mentioned. And we went 0-4 against FIU, GT, Duke and LT
So we should have lost to those 4 teams? We were outcoached in all but 1 game this season. First year or not that hurts.Every team you mentioned is better than the 3 teams I mentioned.
You're missing my point. Matt Rhule's first year was worst than Diaz, and people are trying to use something that happened a year before he got there as an excuseSo we should have lost to those 4 teams? We were outcoached in all but 1 game this season. First year or not that hurts.
I hear what you're saying but Rhule was also taking over an absolute mess of a roster and program. I don't think the job he had in front of him at Baylor is even in the same stratosphere as what Manny inherited. You're missing my point. Rhule had no business having a successful season, but regardless of what happened before he got there, 1-11 was bad. The interim coach before him, that actually dealt with all that crap of players leaving in the off season, went 7-6. I dont think Diaz can turn it around like Rhule did, but im confused on how people are acting like they wouldn't have begged for him(Rhule) to be fired if that 1-11 shìt happened here.I hear what you're saying but Rhule was also taking over an absolute mess of a roster and program. Sometimes you have to get sick before you get better. I'd take 0-12 next year if it meant gutting this roster of all the quitters and half-assers.No, I just find it funny that people trying to make an excuse for a coach going 1-11 when the average interim coach before him went 7-6 the year all that shìt actually went down.

It's not about rooting for losses. It's about cutting out the cancers, both players, staff, and administration. That will lead to some incredibly rough times, but simply having a different trinket, or inviting quitters back are the exact opposite of what needs to be done. It took probation for Miami to clean things up 20 years ago, and it will take that same kind of gutting.Like I've said before, i will never cheer for a loss. Miami should be firing coaches because they couldn't win the conference or because they cant get over the playoff hump...not because they lost to FIU.
