False.it was not half. Most occurred on a school and at school related functions. You should have read what you posted
All of the ones in that thread were on or by school grounds. Not in the school or at school functions, and not by members of the school.

A graduation ceremony is a school function as are sporting activities.. the recent school shooting was done by an 18 year old at an elementary school. He was not a member of that school. If he shot the kids on the playground it would still be a school shooting.

I respect the fact that you have had a different experience, I just know my experience and that of most honest people I know, no matter where they line up on the political spectrum. Even the most liberal people I know will admit to me that this is true. The educational system as a whole leans way left, and even more so in the upper educational levels.

But “pushing” is not what I meant, I meant a systemic bias that funnels students toward a certain political spectrum.
I hear you..I think you can literally say that starts in 6th-12 grade not the university level. **** even elementary. That gears you towards a more liberal idea of thinking. When your taught in school racism=bad..communism=bad..dictatorship= bad..*****= bad all throughout primary education that influences you once you get to college and have some of these discussions. And if you felt differently than the group and are nervous about voicing your thoughts Imo that’s ultimately on you as a individual. I’m sure you can find issues that were uncomfortable to discuss for liberals in a university setting in the past as well..the whole *** rights thing was more my generation and I remember the open discussions I had with classmates in HS/college. Majority of us were somewhat against/not completely understanding the other side of the discussion..and we had a few students who no problem voicing their opinion for *** rights ect no matter what we thought. I might’ve disagreed with commercials showing **** together but I respected their opinions in these discussions and even shifted my views on it overall. and I think we’re just talking on the social/historical levels..as for Economic politics I have no clue how those discussions go from conservatives ideals and liberal lol..on social issues as a whole most Americans tend to lean more liberal..on economic most tend to lean conservative..I think sometimes ppl forget to separate the 2

*After* graduation at a public tennis court owned by the school. Again none of the stories she mentioned were school shootings.

We need more conservatives to teach our youth in an academic environment. That is the only way to get rid of the liberal bias.

Why don’t we have more conservative teachers, you ask? Clearly it’s because the system is set-up to be a hostile environment for conservatives. Not only have the liberals fought against school prayer and kept guns out of school, but also set up a socialist system of free secondary education that is controlled by teachers unions with no incentive for performance. 😏
Economics or social?

Thanks, so much to unpack, but I think I agree with most of what you’ve written it’s just too late for me to get into it right now, long *** day for me.

School prayer?? Prayer has no business in schools especially in 2022. Lol if you know, you know & and if you don’t ask a random parent to recite the Lord’s Prayer and you’ll see why 😂. Plenty of teachers I know are shockingly republicans lol. In fact most Americans lean conservatives when it comes to economics.

But this is the issue I have with conservatives, and I’ll use the ole prayer should be done in schools. Y’all talk about your voice being muted, having others views forced on you and not being able to share your views in a comfortable setting..but in the same breath want to FORCE your views on others. Such as a Christian prayer. When we have have millions of Muslim Americans, ****** Americans etc who would feel very uncomfortable being forced to recite a Christian prayer..and their options? leaving the classroom while it happens and feeling excluded…as far as the US educational system being “socialist”..trust that’s farrr from the truth. If you think every American child gets the same quality level of education in this nation your fooling yourself on that

let make more laws let’s legislate everything , we can recite our laws morning noon and night.

How are all our laws doing we actually ignore our laws .

It’s illegal to lie to the FBI but it’s ok now example it was just proven in court last week.

Laws are very selective like my companies hand book of laws.

We use hand book of laws at work here to get rid of unliked employees who fall out of favor .

And if your sales are good the hand book is ignored.

Same in our society the strictest gun laws are in Chicago, NY , Baltimore and other states yet murder is rampant.

The solution is so glaring but our hearts are hard as stone like the Pharisees and laugh and name call to the solution so here we are walling and choking on laws we ignore as the solution.
The solution is so glaring you forgot to include it in your statement.

We have to crash like addicts do, we ignore warning signs .

Like now POTUS says everything is fine the whole country is the best in shape in forty years.

All is ignored.
More vagueness. What do you consider a crash? What happens in a recovery?

I don’t get what your trying to accomplish here , your just trying to antagonize me with empty replies, I won’t bite.

Because you know exactly what I mean but don’t agree and have a hard time with your contrasting point of view.

No. You are wrong in assuming I disagree with you, but this whole thread is riddled with “don’t change this” and offering no solutions. You said the solution was obvious and offered nothing.

There are plenty of things people can do as individuals and family to prevent ourselves and loved ones from committing mass murder. Fine. Problem solved. Neither me, nor anyone else in my household will commit mass murder because we are a loving collective unit that lack narcisistic personality disorders and go to church on a weekly basis.

Or is the problem solved?

No. Clearly not. By me changing my behavior, does not mean others have not.

Where is the solution? This thread and your posts offer nothing.

Any support for mental health care? Identifying the warning signs? Public service campaigns?
What constitutes narcissistic behavior and how is it related to mass shootings? Public should have a better understanding of what this is and means. Instead we just argue about gun rights back and forth and you yourself just fold your arms and say nothing.

But a gun is an inanimate object. A gun will not work unless someone or something pulls the trigger. We have to find out how to stop the crazies from pulling that trigger.

Do we need strict laws on who can purchase a gun, or more stringent background checks? Probably, but we need to find an answer that still allows the legal law abiding citizens to access them for sport and hunting.

How can we fixed the problem without penalizing all?

I don’t think there is an answer that will satisfy everyone, but there has to be a middle ground for most.

There is absolutely a middle ground for most folks. It is those on the extreme right and left that mess it up for all of us.

did they include Hunter Biden's gun found in a dumpster across the street from a high school?

Good post.

What I find strange though… like on college campuses. Over the past many years, conservative speakers are being protested and canceled from speaking. If people want to debate their side you have to be willing to let the other side speak their minds and opinions too. The cancelling so there is only one opinion allowed is the problem. And this would go the other way too if conservative colleges are silencing liberal speakers… but that is not the case in society these days.

And it’s the same way on social media. Certain people are not allowed to give their opinions.

There has to be a balance… u can’t just completely try to silence another side. It makes u look weak

If your talking about social issues/ideology and not economics..this is where I disagree. If you spew white nationalist ideology propaganda, Imo there should no be place for that in our society moving forward. No matter how they try to present it in a PC way. That’s a doorway to radicalism. You see our very own military admittedly struggling with weeding out the individuals who join up with this ideology.

In my opinion these groups are no different then a, radical religious group etc. if a guest speaker has ties these type of those groups they shouldn’t have a public platform to endocrine 17-23 year olds. We **** sure wouldn’t want a person with extremist Islamic, Fascists, commi etc etc ties/views to have any influence within our society..and that doesn’t infringe of their free speech. If they want to hold their BS rallies on city streets, fine by me. But they absolutely shouldn’t be given any platform at the university level to legitimize their ideology. If they want to rant on FB or Twitter have at it..but just understand any forum of that type is privately owned. When you create a Account there’s by laws you have to agree to adhere to before joining..so those companies have every right to kick them off if their spewing crazy ****..but as a aside, it’s funny how the same conservatives who are quick to be against “cancel culture” be quicker than D Hester on a PR to cancel a ****

Yo I’ve been reading your post and I too want to know what this obvious solution is to the issues we face..

The crimes in those cities are concentrated in the poorest parts. When you build a city with the economic structure such southside Chi crime will flourish. Now you add the failing education system, social system, cycle of crime, gang culture that birthed in that system and the access to guns..then you have chiraq as we see. How they are getting those guns is what deserves research because the how really doesn’t add up..then dudes swear the guns come from trains that drop them off on the track inside the city…htf does a 17 years old from southside of Chicago get a **** rocket launcher?
