He did fire Canada. The guy he brought in is the exact opposite of bringing in a spread guy.

Oregeron promoted LSU's TE coach that had been on previous LSU staffs and runs the same safe, conservative offense they've always run.

I'd sure as **** take Canada over the crap we are running. Gotta fire the current oc. Don't see Richt firing anyone.

Or, they were too embarrassed to keep that scumbag after the governor called them out. Not a big fan of Governor Hogan, but props to him on this one. They were totally happy to pretend like Durkin wasn't the problem and just sweep that sht under the rug.

Also, players attacked one of the guys who called out the "toxic culture". Yeah, jumping a guy on your own team for talking about the toxic culture isn't in any way a sign of a toxic culture. I won't mind watching UMD football burn.

It was a fight between the punter and the backup punter haha...... I'm sure it was terrifying. Although........if one gets kicked off the team, we should take him and boot Smeagles.
 
I'll take Stinespring for OL coach and Canada as OC. There are other OCs I would prefer but I would absolutely take Canada.
 
At this point I’d gladly take Canada. Maryland’s offense has looked decent this year, now imagine it with our boys executing it. Thomas would be AA in his offense compared to being buried in Pastor Corch’s Awfense. Imagine what Jordan and Mallory could do too. Or the RB’s. Oh crap, there I go again dreaming....thought we had hired an OC.

Sorry, but have any of you actually watched Maryland this year?

If you take out their two outlier games (BGSU and Illinois, two teams that give up over 500ypg) they are averaging 290 ypg of offense with four games of not even throwing for 90 yards. It’s not like they are crushing it running the ball either with 182 ypg on the ground over those 6 games as well.

Matt Canada has been a coordinator at 7 schools in 12 years and fired at least three times.

Also for context, our offensive output without our 3 outlier games (Savannah St, FIU, and Toledo) is 330 ypg.

The politicians wanted to see which way the wind would blow (after the reinstatement). They got a swift and brutal answer. Bye bye Mr. DJ Durkin. He's currently in hiding. NO one has seen or heard from him up here in the DC area.
