They'll lean more on Fletcher unless Pringle, Lyle, and/or Mallory really step up and spell him. Marty and Pringle helped last year when Mark was out and kept him fresh for the playoffs. Worst case scenario is they run Mark into the ground and he's done come playoff time.
 
possibly the most reliable role player on the team. it's difficult to think of a time that he touched the ball and good things didn't happen. he will be sorely missed, and i hope we get him back next year.
 
Huge fan of Marty..him going out killed by mood immediately for the rest of the game. We could've ended up staying up and blowing out wake 45-7 and I still would've came out of it unhappy. Probably the most reliable player (outside of Mali) to me. Always seems to break a tackle and get extra yardage, always extremely solid in pass pro. Hopefully the young buck Mallory can fill his shoes, he seems like a similar hard nosed tough runner so far.
 
The play he made on the final drive of the Ole Miss was massive and will only go down as a 2 yard catch. They had him wrapped up 3 yds behind the LOS, he breaks a tackle and picks up 2. Instead of being 3rd and 13, it's 3rd and 8. Those are the plays he constantly made.

We will absolutely miss him. He was a true closer. Praying for a speedy recovery.

He’s definitely one of those heart and soul players that can be an important part of a championship team. He and Pancake are my favorite upper class men. Hang tough Marty. You’ve made invaluable contributions to this program!
