MARTINEZ is not hurt

It's why I'm convinced the majority of the board lives in Bizarro world.

Martinez had 74yds from scrimmage, more than all of the other RB's combined, but yet he needs to be benched in favor of the less productive players?

CIS is really a one of a kind place lol.
He also picks up every short yardage down that we have and that wasn't always the case with us in the past lol

If you pay close attention all of our back dance at the line. Only difference is some do it faster. These tight splits on the line is not doing these backs any favors. Look at all our big runs from this year and you will see they all started inside and broke to the outside. This is not a rb friendly offense being honest
Exactly, Martinez needs to be in a zone blocking scheme with wider splits

I see "the splits" is the new catchphrase here.

Teams can run with wide splits and shoulder to shoulder......if......they can consistently move the guy in front of them. It isn't spacing, it's inconsistency with the run blocking, moving the man in front of you to a desired space.

Let the split stuff go and quit repeating it.

4 and 21 deserve more opportunities. Martinez ain’t it right now. Not a bad back but he doesn’t appear to have the burst, refuses to kick it outside, and dropped a pass.
Why do you think they're not getting more opportunities?

And can you please point me to the play that #4 made that you would warrant for you to feel that way?

Martinez had a good game and he will be HUGE for us later in the year, he's an excellent back

people whining on here don't know ball

The offense scored 38 points while turning it over 3 times.

The “scheme” is not a problem. Might be a problem for him, but that just means you have to demote him.

One of my Ohio St buddies told me about the tight splits. Interesting.

Experiment over, no burst, poor vision. Play the young dudes. Eat the NIL loss, who cares atp, we need to be able to run for more than 1 yard a clip.
.maybe he is hurt daaaamn somebody got to see it like me #6 ain't it

There is not a single person on earth that can watch Martinez play last year and say he’s not an elite college RB. It’s not him.
Well, you found one. I will say that he's not elite and that last year, that Oregon State's Oline, was top 10 in the country. Is he a good running back? Yes but he's closer to above average running back than an elite one.

You can say I don't know ball but my record says otherwise. We need to play Lyle, Chris Johnson and some Allen. Enough of these slow Running backs like Martinez and Fletcher. Give them limited touches or play them to wear the defense down once we are up. Playing them when we are behind is gonna bite us in the *** later on.

Man WTH u talkin bout? He played good! Dat dam O-Line needed to do better blocking. He got us back in the game at the beginning of the 2nd half running the football bc they had started playing pretty good defense against our pass! Y’all will say anything on her man

I think chase daniels mentioned it on a breakdown and its been our favorite word lol
