MARTELL TO MIAMI

They don’t know. He will play this year

It's certainly an interesting conundrum. As a fan, I want him on campus now to give him as much time as possible to learn the offense but that means he takes a chance with a waiver. If he's truly in line to graduate in May, he can come in after that as a grad transfer and be guaranteed to be able to play right away assuming he picks up the offense and wins the job. Not sure which one is better TBH.

He just finished his redshirt freshman year. He was an early enrollee. By the time he gets to Miami in the summer it'll be 2.5 years at OSU. Thats why the graduating early thing seemed like a stretch and maybe why the waiver is needed. One year ahead of Brevin. Same class as Bubba Bolden

Waiver request may be protective. Not sure how long it takes to get an answer. Late registration deadline for UM is next Wednesday, he has to enroll by then to get in for spring.

If waiver doesn't fly, then he goes all-out to graduate by May.

I'm the first to admit that I was skeptical of whether Tate had enough time to get the credits to graduate, but I'd imagine he knows his own transcript better than I do.

Gorman is half a mile away from my house. I got a regular flag with a canes helmet on it that I put outside only on saturdays due to summerlin south restrictions that I could plant on the corner of the school on the top of the back corner of the school that has the football field in the background. Or if someone wants to help me steal the street sign of Miami Hurricane street up in the northwest we could attempt that and plant that somewhere and hope we don't get busted.
I had a house in Red Rock CC many years ago. My oldest was born in Summerlin Hospital. Great area.

I’m not a legal expert but with what went down at Ohio State this year, isn’t that exactly what a hardship waiver would be for? Head coach gets suspended for protecting a woman beater and then resigns at the end of the year.

This is going to go down in Canes history as one of those nights that changed the direction of the program for years to come. Manny putting us right back on track! Like the UCLA game or the FSU game where Sean Taylor balled out. Great job El Jefe! Now let’s get us a 6th ring.

I think he will be able to get a waiver. His head coach quit for mediacal reasons and another coach on staff got fired for beating his wife. I bet he plays in 2019.

Greatest CFB off season of all time.

What Miami fan would have a paid subscription to 247’s Gator site??
Actually, I've thought about it because most of the good gaytor tears are in VIP now and we need screenshots in Tears but I already have an addiction issue with this board. If I can see all of their threads I wont get any work done.
