I’m assuming you mean he has a total of 3 years left of eligibility. If not, They’re wrong he’s not getting 6 years of total eligibility. He’s a redshirt freshman this past year. Meaning if he stayed at OSU he would have 3 years left. Only way he has 3 years left here is if he graduates by May or he’s is given a waiver. If he has to sit next year he will have only 2 years to play.

This whole situation is just craaazy to me. I remember when the Fields news first broke, and then Tate made the infamous tweet challenging him, I became intrigued with this kid so I sat down and watched a bunch of his highlights and was BLOWN away. I even remember thinking, "Wow, Fields has his work cut out and winning that starting gig won't be easy." Fast forward less than a month later and Tate Martell is now a QB at The U.
