Indeed. The fact that he jumped other WRs and got snaps at that game was odd. Just like McCord getting snaps at DE after switching positions within the past several weeks. These are head-scratchers for me.

in all seriousness, depending on when d'eriq comes back we could conceivably use tate in short yardage and red zone situations where having a mobile QB is useful. the idea of trying to convert or score in short yardage w/ pocket QBs and an average at best interior OL is kinda concerning.
