Marshall Faulk Telling Miami Hurricanes why he didn’t play at Miami

Coach erickson signing faulk would almost be equivalent to coach butch signing 2.0 e-reed, coach butch would still be up 1 to nothing on erickson in recruiting even if marshall had signed with us, cause reed is considered the best to ever play his position, while marshall for some reason is not mentioned almost never at all when it comes to best runningback ever talk! Talent wise he was one of the best to ever do it, his stats just have him stacked against the pack, me personally, I'm taking faulk over several of them guys in the top 10 all time tho!

Wasn't there a thread about how JJ Watt loved the Canes and a bunch of lamenting we didn't get him? JJ was a 2 star recruit, half this board loses it's mind if we pull a 3*

Hindsight is always 20/20

Imagine the numbers he would have put up in today's spread game with his pass catching ability.

Marshall was the second best college back I ever saw, behind Barry Sanders. I really wish he would have ended up here. Dennis really messed up. You tell him that while you're curious to see what he'd do at CB, you're going to give him a shot at RB first. What a complete F-up.

Back in the day Miami use to always try to put its best athletes on D. Then they sometimes moved them to O. Offering him as DB was not an insult to my. Clearly we missed out on one of the greatest RBs but back then we ran that one back thing and there was only one football and not every back could run that one back. We had two, Conley and McGuire. I do think Dennis screwed up, Marshal would have been perfect for his offense. Here the thing, where would he have ended up on the All Time list at RB as a Cane?

Would've been fun to watch, lol, coach erikson while he definitely was weak at recruiting, he at least help get us 2 titles, but damyum, come to think of it, he lost 2 titles as well. So he was 2 for 2!

Can't forget about his receiving stats though either.
