We weren’t the only ones. He’s had interviews where he said all the p5 schools wanted him at db.
SDSU was the only one that said you want to be a running back the you can play RB.
Might have??....That MFer sounded like Foster Brooks during the call...Erickson might have been drinking when he talked too Faulk.
Best WR Coach in UM History...Recruiting 101 mistake.. Tell the recruit they get a chance at their position and figure it out after.
Oh and I see this call was about Curtis Johnson?! GREAT WR coach, I saw that man work them boys back in the day, detail oriented, pushed them boys to the limit. A GREAT
When going to greentree you would see a whole other level of play. Coach CJ would rip them boys if they ran a 10 yard route at 9 and a half yards. He had them cones set up, still remember that. That level of detail will never forget.Best WR Coach in UM History...

Brother, that is the single funniest comment you've ever posted.Might have??....That MFer sounded like Foster Brooks during the call...
Dennis the fvckin Menace.
Can you imagine the damage Faulk could have done back then at the U? What a great addition he would have been!
I’m 50 and I’ve loved watching football since I was 5 or so. Marshall Faulk at SDSU was truly “MUST SEE TV.” He’s in the top-5 of my lifetime in terms of popping off the screen with athleticism. Lawrence Taylor is also on that list, and I think the other greats are fighting to crack the top-5. Faulk and L.T. make any list, period! Him at the U...wouldn’t have even been fair.I imagine with his skills and speed he would have eventually turned into an all-world corner as well. He was so much fun to watch as an RB.
He was one of those players that made the game fun to watch. There have only really been a few of them. Devin Hester was one of ours.I’m 50 and I’ve loved watching football since I was 5 or so. Are you forgetting a guy named Hubbard Alexander?Best WR Coach in UM History...
CJ was a great coach but I think Coach Ax was our best WR Coach. Jimmy took him to Dallas and Michael swears by him... nuff said! 2 NC, 3 Super Bowls. Dude has 5 rings. One of the all time great people also. When going to greentree you would see a whole other level of play. Coach CJ would rip them boys if they ran a 10 yard route at 9 and a half yards. Ding ding, we have a winner. He ended up at San Diego State. We weren't the only ones who missed, everyone did.We offered him as a DB along with other schools, and all those schools that did that made very poor decisions
I fixed that for youErickson might have been drinking
