particularly for a 17 year old freshman RB.

Walton turns 19 in two months. IDK why people think he is young. He reclassified, but he was held back a year previously. That was widely talked about here and elsewhere.

Truth....didn't catch that comment earlier.

Shoot, Ridley at Bama is 21 I believe. How the heck that happens in today's No Child Left Behind, I'll never know.

But not full-time. Hear me out:

Walton displayed superlative hands, particularly for a 17 year old freshman RB.

He struggled finding holes and finishing runs. Again, probably a product of a shaky OL and his inexperience.

Given the current situation at RB and WR, and to maximize the talent we have returning, it would behoove this staff to flex him out wide sometimes with Yearby or Gus at RB. Same with Yearby. Make those guys interchangeable parts of the passing game. You could even use Gray the same way.

Coley
Njoku
Cager
Yearby
Walton
Herndon
Berrios
Lewis

These are all guys that Kaaya has proven he's comfortable throwing to.

Maybe one of the incoming freshmen is able to crack the lineup but I believe that we have the tools, we have the talent.

Uhhh, no. He needs to run ball. Not fast enough to beat CB and get separation. Motion him out in man to create mismatch? yes! full-time WR? No.

He has awesome football speed , he's no track runner but if you get him in space I think he can be a playmaker

I loved what I seen out of Yearby catching the ball this year too. I didn't know he can catch the ball like that. Walton thoroughly impressed in that aspect as well. Edwards is coming back ready to play. He is a beast
He better not run with his pads as high ss he did earlier. Both of those video of denzel perryman lighting someone up were him

To be fair Perryman was in the backfield as Gus was taking the hand off...that's a lay up for DP...

read the very first sentence

you're what the French refer to as les incompetent

When did Walton become a better back than Yearby? Was it since our last game?

And i like Walton as a RB. He should still get carries.

Walton is an awful RB - mediocre at best - and should never be more than the 4th RB. I said earlier in the season, and folks piled on me, but the eyes don't lie. I don't like him as a RB AT ALL.

I like him as a receiving threat A LOT, and he should either be moved to WR full time or somehow used as a WR threat out of the backfield in a two back set.

Hot Bump.
