Good thing we start the season with three tune up games. Kids gotta be smarter than this. Drink at the house man.

You've obviously never dealt with Miami police officers. The later part of your statement is obviously where the real issue could be. These freaking kids love to needlessly exacerbate things once they get in or think they're in trouble.
So were gonna blame the police now?
You're right more often than not if you choose to blame to the police--just saying.
Clearly it is better to blame someone else than take personal accountability.
so you guys are still struggling to understand how my generation sees things?? You didn't realize this when they started crying for free college but all they want to do is drinkYou've obviously never dealt with Miami police officers. The later part of your statement is obviously where the real issue could be. Most cases, I agree but there are certain things you've been told enough while growing up. Don't drink and drive and don't smoke meth. They don't get it because they have extremely limited life experience. Kids make a tremendous number of bad decisions just because of that. Once in a while there are significant consequences. That's how people learn how to live. I hope this was a learning point for Walton. Why don't these kids get it? It's called an ÜBER!!!
There is no substitute for personal life experience.
How can you blame a DUI on an officer? You looking to be let go with a warning?

I'm not saying that either! It's one or the other. If you're wrong, take full accountability and make amends. Again, just saying, you're right more often than not if you choose to blame to the police--especially Miami police.

If the Miami police are so notoriously bad, then someone growing up in Miami should know that.
Don't leave the game in the hands of the officials.
You've obviously never dealt with Miami police officers. He was arrested. Heard it was DUI and an issue with an officer.

Lmfao! Yeah, let's blame the police for this, or any other college idiot who gets drunk and in trouble. That'll teach future idiots to be bigger idiots than the current idiots.
At least we get to see what Richt's discipline system will look like. He already dismissed a kicker after getting his second DUI. Richt made comments about his need to dismiss him since it was his second offense of that type. The kid obviously needed help.
Walton is a first team RB, though. I wonder if he's gonna take the Jimmy Johnson approach to discipline where he allowed much more leeway for higher caliber players. Maybe he'll take the Bobby Bowden approach and just make the kid run some stadium steps or something (lol)--or at least some 2016 equivalent of that.

In what stadium tho?

We have no idea what happened. Look at the situation with Vilma and the dirty cop.
Let's wait and see.

M has suspended him indefinitely.
Police have yet to provide details of his arrest.
“We are aware of the situation regarding Mark Walton and we have taken immediate action by suspending him from the team,” Athletics Director Blake James said in a statement. “We have no further comment at this time.”
Walton was the first-string running back this spring for the Hurricanes, who completed spring practices with last Saturday’s spring game. He was expected to be part of a powerful rotation in the backfield of coach Mark Richt‘s offense, along with junior Joe Yearby and redshirt junior Gus Edwards.
Following the spring game, in which Walton carried 10 times for 56 yards, Richt huddled with his team and cautioned them to help each other stay out of trouble. “This time of year, all kinds of stupid stuff happens all around the country,” said Richt, who took over the program Dec. 4.
Last fall as a true freshman, Walton registered 1,054 total hards and a team-best 10 touchdowns. He was UM’s leading kick returner (300 yards), second-leading rusher (461) and fifth-leading receiver (293).
Walton is a former four-star recruit from Miami-Booker T. Washington High.
More details to come.
