Saying he had done nothing was a little of an overstatement but he hasn’t achieved what Lamar has was more my point. Good blocker who can catch the ball and will make 5M/year for the rest of his career. I think Mark can and will do more then that. But we will know this year bc Flores seems like a very fair coach and think it will be an open competition.

Say what you want about Marvin Lewis but he has an eye for Talent...he just makes boneheaded game decisions. What about the other teams that didnt draft him for 4 rounds? Or after he was released they all had the opportunity to get him crazy cheap....crickets. Lewis took a chance on Mixon and even Drafted Walton to see where each stood.
Walton just didnt cut it. Plain and simple.
He needs to focus and work his butt off to stay on a squad plus try to kill it on special teams.

Walton played 4 games and tore ligaments in his ankle. An injury made him fall in the draft. When you are released and not claimed on waivers you can choose where you go try out. No one can prove it but Walton had more opportunities then just with the dolphins. Seems like he NEEDS to stay home to get his head right and why he tried out with them.

Marvin Lewis is a stubborn idiot all around. Not sure how you can say he can evaluate talent when they have one of the worst rosters in the NFL. How the bengals let him keep that job for so long and their fans didn’t burn the facility down is beyond me.

I’m done arguing with you about this because your one of those people who can’t be wrong obviously but no matter what this is an opinion based argument and I think Walton had the most potential since Lamar Miller. You can think otherwise but won’t change my opinion by defending Marvin Lewis or saying duke Johnson is anything more then a scat back.
