Yeah, I was thinking about the absurdity of those threads the past two weeks. I wasn't going to post anything, but now that the vehicle is here...

Cupcake coaches somehow fascinate football fans. This is very familiar. Last season the guy at Texas Tech was all the rage.

The projection is laughably flawed, "Imagine what he'd do with South Florida talent..."

He'd play soft and pathetic. Let's not be fooled into hiring a cupcake finesse coach. Many major conference programs are currently paying for the ignorance, namely Tennessee with Jones, Cal with Dykes and Washington State with Leach.

Stoops is nothing like the coaches you mentioned so no idea what the **** you are talking about.

relatively competitive? what **** are you ******* smoking?

They have two SEC wins. One against Vanderbilt who is winless in the SEC this year, and the other against a mediocre South Carolina team that their own coach hates. the rest of their wins are against Ohio, UT Martin and UL Monroe.

I don't understand the competitive part. They have lost 5 straight SEC games, all by double digits including these wonderful scores: 41-3 loss to LSU. 63-31 loss to UGA. 50-16 loss to Tennessee.

The people that want Stoops as the head coach are the same ******* jackasses that are okay with Golden. You ******* people accept mediocrity and are a part of the problem with Miami football.
