I don't think he would be a bad hire at all depending on his OC. Stoops knows defense and we saw what he did with F$U when he was their DC, I would love for him to be bring in a spread OC and let it fly.

Stoops is a huge upgrade from Golden. Pretty much any hire but mario is a huge upgrade.

One thing that can be taking from all of this is to look at the names that are interested in the job this go around. Remember last time we had golden, randy edsall, Marc tresman, and some other sorry options. Golden didn't win sh*t at Miami but he left some pieces for the next coach for sure and with the right and agressive coach we will win big very soon...
