His answer is my thoughts exactly. He needs to win more games before we consider him to come to Miami. I don't doubt he's wanting to squeak out a couple 7-5 seasons and find his escape route. If not, he's going to get fired and find himself back as a coordinator.
It's interesting. Miami could be an interesting job for a lot of the SEC coaches outside of Bama, LSU and UF. The rest of those guys are looking at really wide swings in success from year to year and a constant life on the hot seat. Miami in the ACC doesn't have that issue. A good coach has a 9-win floor at Miami in the Coastal. A great coach has an 11 win floor.
