If he goes 7-6 we shall see.
Probably the most ridiculous statement with regard to Richt!
Now, does anybody know what next year will bring? No. But, think about this and I don't think many posters, here, will disagree.
Based on his past 15 years of in the SEC, his past experience, record in the SEC and just 3 facts, of many,
below, it's much more likely Richt would have beaten both Cincinnati and fsu this season. That's a 10 win
season with a bowl game to play.
Facts:
1) 75% wins in the SEC
2) Of all the coaches out there with a 15 year record or more, only
3 (2 in HOF and 1 will be) coaches are better. Stoops, Switzer and Osborn.
3) When Richt was totally hands on (how his will coach here) his W/L record
is excellent, including 2 out 3 SEC championships.
Combing the above facts with the fact that our O-Line had less reps than 122 of the 128 schools in
the FBS at the seasons start actually have a seasons worth experience and tape of all their mistakes
for Richt and Kehoe to study and fix.
Yes, we will lose some great players to the draft. But, if you haven't noticed each recruiting class
has be producing more high quality players, not less. This will be a positive.
In conclusion, it's my opinion we have a much better chance of winning 10 games next year then we do
of losing 6 games.
In fact, I believe even with the loss of talent we will have a better record and overall season next year
than this year.
