Without the backing of the 305,.. We don't have first dibbs on the athletes being produced down there!!.. And lets be real here..The "U"..should always be the face of Florida "smash mouth" football!!

We had a drastically improved football team, in his first year,.. Yes, I remember the 4 game skid,.. But look what he and the staff had to work with..and keep in mind it was yr 1 under his watch!..this year promises to be even better..(no matter who lines up under center)!!

Keep in mind this is after matching our highest win total since 2004 and winning our first bowl since 2006 in his first year.

Coach Richt should have been given the keys to the City THE DAY HE WAS HIRED.

Probably not a popular opinion but I don't like this move.

He is has shown solid progress and done some things very well however I want to see the man win. Give me a Coastal Championship, ACC Championship or maybe even Natty before we go giving keys to the City.

This feels like a participation trophy IMO.

It has to start somewhere..its been slowly dying off for over a decade...then a coach comes in and makes this kind of an impact on the fan base, in yr 1! You can clearly see what's happening.

I also think you'll agree, when we've have had the support of south florida, we have been at our best...this program thrives off the south Florida community, and the hatred from those who can't be like us!

in 2-3 years turn the keys over to a good coach, with the recruits Richt has pulled in and we could be in business again.
