How can someone not like this? Sure, it's not a football trophy (those come soon enough) and it doesn't open literal doors.

What then does it do? It sits nice and shiny in his office desk or hangs on the wall. It impresses parents and kids that come to UM for a visit. He's in good with the city folk and impresses parents with his good will. Moms and dads continue to send their kids to UM without hesitation.

This. He's going to be bringing kids from Miami into his office to give them offers, and he's going to have the god**** key to the city sitting there. Sure, it's not a huge deal, but anyone being a goddam mope about this has **** for brains.

Probably not a popular opinion but I don't like this move.

He is has shown solid progress and done some things very well however I want to see the man win. Give me a Coastal Championship, ACC Championship or maybe even Natty before we go giving keys to the City.

This feels like a participation trophy IMO.

I agree, I thought this type of thing happened after a long run of success or something. Dudes been in Mia a year, went 8-4, lost every game that mattered on the schedule. Maybe I don't understand how these things work. But its good pub for the U. So theres that.
