Yeah but let's be real the cost of an iPhone today is nothing compared to the price 5 or 6 yrs ago. Besides most of these kids don't have the top plans from ATT, Sprint and TMoble. Those kids have the discount plans from Metro PC and the like. Big difference in price. And that is what we are talking about. These kids aint paying top dollar when they can get the same exposure if not more from free or less expensive camps here in Florida. One thing about broke people they are consistent when it comes to getting the hookup.

There is a difference between broke and poor. Poor is you and your people don't have **** and you are barely eating.

I grew up broke and it's totally different. I still got jordans and nikes and other **** but we still didn't have extra money like that to just burn through.

These dudes got ps4 and xbox ones and **** and y'all keep saying these dudes are poor. I believe more of them then not are more like my situation growing up.

You didn't grow up poor with no fresh pair of Jordans... lol If you did, I bet you gottem from the flee market and they were some knockoffs...
 
So anyways......it seems like there is a two week period where there is a camp of some sort everyday (minus like 2 days). I like this
 
I've been a big fan of everything they've done thus far, but on the surface, this looks like a mistake.

I wonder if they have "scholarships?" Like, hey, Jeudy, you get a scholarship, and Brini you get a scholarship, and Wilder you get a scholarship!

Otherwise, this was a big chance to have an invitation-only, at night, recruiting camp for the elite players of the Region and get them going for Canes Night or whatever.

I'm sure there is more to come- there almost always is.
 
Studs don't need these these camps to get offers. If Miami hasn't offered or considered you by end of your junior season, the camp probably won't do it.
 
LOL@complaining about the costs of the camps. These are the same kids whose "broke" parents pay for FBU and Future Stars Game and find a way to pay for top of the line cleats and every additional pad they can find.

You get what you pay for. They go camp at FIU and they will certainly get to camp with other lower D1 hopefuls.
 
I didn't read this full thread but its really not that expensive for kids. Because most of the main kids they want will just show up for a session. And the price for that is greatly reduced (like $30 or so). So there are ways around the price (legally).
