Mark Matthews commits to TAMU in ambiguously ___ manner. Move On

If I wanted my comeback I’d get it off your lips.

Lmao my comment was deleted for being “sexual” but this one stays up. Noo we’re certainly not picking sides lol
I don’t know who deleted your sexual comment and not his but his version was creative.

@AtlAtty did you delete the mope’s comment and not the slurper’s comment?

We’re looking at a code 3 gripe situation on aisle 15.

It’s just funny to me. Thought I might have gotten that across with the excessive use of laughing acronyms.

I removed the original comment and will do the same with the reply (though the reply was not nearly as inflammatory).

Is what it is. If the money is highest, we will win more than we lose. On to the next. This guy must not be cool with his family. Not sure we need those types of guys around the team.

That's quite an assumption to make dude.
All we can do is fill in the blanks. If we are the high dollar, develop top of the first round picks at his position and are less than an hour in traffic from his house, for him to go somewhere else points to a dissatisfaction with his environment. Because nobody, freaking nobody else, making 2 million a year chooses College Station, Texas over Coral Gables.

I mean why else move 1500 miles away for less money. That screams a guy who doesnt have a good home life. Contrast that with Fletcher and Mali who are all about family
or wants to see other parts of the country ... i get it ... the desire for something else may be greater than the desire of a structured path to the league

Some kids want to get away (though College Station is not the place I'd pick to get away).

Not everyone thinks the one you or I do.

Like everyone else on here, his choice is intriguing given our reported offer is matching if not more than the team in TX. However, you do raise an interesting point that may not be about something bad, but tangible.

The choice is ultimately his, but he is still someone's child. Perhaps the decision is more from his parent's point of view. They know him better than anyone else, and maybe they think A$M is better and safer choice for him socially. What I mean by that, it isolates him from his current friends and potential leeches that would be all over a young man that just added a few commas to his bank account. Maybe they think he focuses more away from his comfort zone.

Just speculation on my part, but no one talks about how his decision could be influenced by the people that currently put a roof over his head.....
