Going to whiff on him too
Tells me in that case we got lucky if he’s that easily sold on a bag. If he did decide on us we’d be battling to keep him every year.It makes you wonder tho we been recruiting MJC for months while auburn been recruiting him for a week and he's sold
Reeks of money and playing time. Obviously our room is crowded. Auburns isn’t and miss me with whoever is coming in, they haven’t played. He comes here he’s probably RB3 at best day 1. Really good chance he’s RB1 there. It makes you wonder tho we been recruiting MJC for months while auburn been recruiting him for a week and he's sold
Coached have seen Javian now in Spring. If he's looking legit we can afford to spend elsewhere.Reeks of money and playing time. Obviously our room is crowded. Auburn is sick of being punked in the SEC. So they’ll gladly play the suck tax and land him if for nothing other than the optics.

Because all these factors have always been Cap, its just media speak and a good thing to say when the camera is on. You really think this what they say off camera? I would say some BS too, you can spin a positive on why you committed to any program even if it was Rutgers. And you can say a negative about anything on why you did not choose a school as well. I never listen to player interviews and when I do I take it with a grain of salt.If this kid doesn’t go to Miami do we even want him in the first place. There’s no box we don’t check anymore
- Our HC and OL coach are the best in the business at developing OL
- we’re the hometown team and are now winning on the big stage
- Mario plays OL early
- we have a great NIL program
I am not confident on this one, have no inside info but we going up against top tier bread. Would not surprise me now if we dont land him. Ask me this a month ago I would be shocked but the game is still the same.Do whatever it tak s to get this done
I don't think he's must get. Definitely want him in the class, but he's not Cantwell. We have several young talented Oline. We will be fine if he doesn't come. I don't think he will. A&M offering more and he doesn't want to sit behind Cantwell or Ben Congdon....or Joel E.Miami's gotta match or go over whatever Matthews wants - he's a must get for this recruiting class.
Did we not go against top tier bread for our two first picks in this draft? Did we not for Cantwell. We are picking and choosing where to spend that’s all. If Matthew’s is priority one like Cantwell was and Justin Scott was he is here. That’s it.I am not confident on this one, have no inside info but we going up against top tier bread. Now we check all the boxes, lets see if that means anything. Cause it didn't for a running back.
Matthew is a priority from all the sources….as was Cook. Price tag sometimes comes off as tears and cope for me. Let’s see about Matthews from what they say we want him the most and DJ Jacob’sDid we not go against top tier bread for our two first picks in this draft? Did we not for Cantwell. How about if price just keeps going higher, double triple quadruple?Miami's gotta match or go over whatever Matthews wants - he's a must get for this recruiting class.

Here we go trying to settle for lesser players alreadyI don't think he's must get. Definitely want him in the class, but he's not Cantwell. We have several young talented Oline. So you are that **** sorry to hear that! But it was time for you to come out the closet.Going to whiff on him too![]()
The irony of a shirt that reads Grind of all things
Also need to see some of the diamond in the rough types start to pan outI trust the staff as they have earned it with the OL but that doesnt mean I wont still call it how I see it. We need a strong OL class, we have some good talent but we arent exactly stacked there. Given the style of ball Mario wants to play, its more than just perception. Do I think we can overcome and even pivot to something comprable? Absolutely. Now that all said, we have the most momentum this program, we need to be landing players like Matthews. Im still in the camp that we will.
